For our 4th quarter English class, we were tasked to explore the question "Can you create something that will change reality?" We thought about what we wanted to investigate and uncover, and ended up with the guiding question: How many people have stories that would go untold, if someone didn’t ask? In response to our question we decided to create a project called What's Your Story? As second semester Seniors we have been around our classmates for four years now. Most people know every single person in our graduating class. Even though we have all known each other for a chunk of time now, what don't we know about the people who sit in class with us? For our project we decided to ask people in our English class, "What's your story?" We prefaced the question with telling each person to think about something no one would know about you, unless they asked. For us, this was a way to connect deeper with our classmates while exploring the power of storytelling. For our final product we have put the interviews we conducted on this website in order to change people's perspectives. We hope that these interviews change the realities of the perceptions others, or maybe just enrich them.
